WF Pieterse: Im the average inspired individual, with a taste for the extreme when it comes to adventure.... Why is my blog named Forged by Fire? The easiest and most obvious way, to answer such a question would be to say that it is not aimed at just me. It is dedicated to the way that life uses adversity to “Forge” our personalities. Relaying the story of my life will be entertaining for a while, but what value would that hold for anyone? More apt would be to relay the lessons that I have learnt along the way. How they have changed my outlook on life, and how I have grown as a person. Following my progress in the Mr. South Africa competition, and in life itself beyond the flashing lights and red carpets I hope, will make a difference to someone in their day to day lives… Please feel free to share how adversity has changed your outlook on life….
